As part of Grey District Council sewer infrastructure upgrade, Waterclean was engaged to design, build and install a lid for the new sewer tank on Preston Road.
Waterclean commissioned DO to carry out the survey, which was required to accurately capture as-built position of the top of the tank and present data in 3D digital format. As the top of the tank is 10 metres above ground, specialist health and safety was required for ‘working at heights’. The new lid was then fabricated overseas, before onsite assembly and fitting.
