Dave has been involved in the design and management of major residential subdivisions and infrastructure projects across Canterbury.

Dave is a senior civil engineer based over 20 years’ experience in civil engineering, and more than 15 years in project management roles on roading and infrastructure projects. His work spans the South Island, particularly North Canterbury, the Mackenzie region and Christchurch. 

He provides expertise across the civil aspects of land development and infrastructure projects, with experience across the full project lifecycle from initial concept design through to detailed construction design, contract administration and on-site supervision. Dave works closely with clients, local authorities, contractors and subconsultants and helps coordinate stakeholders while also managing cost, quality and programme requirements. 

Dave’s project experience includes the design and management of major residential subdivisions such as Silverstream Estate in Kaiapoi and Ravenswood in Woodend. He has also been involved in large-scale infrastructure projects, including the Shands Road roundabouts and intersections and the Waterloo Business Park development. 

Sophie's proactive approach enables her to work closely with communities, regulatory authorities and technical experts to create sustainable and impactful solutions.

Sophie is a Chartered Professional Natural Resources Engineer with expertise in stormwater design, hydrology, environmental assessments and the design of 3-waters services for urban and rural developments. She co-leads our Civil Team, supporting teams across our Christchurch and Greymouth offices.

Having worked on a range of water infrastructure projects across New Zealand and the Pacific, Sophie's experience includes stormwater and servicing design for large-scale residential and commercial developments, infrastructure upgrades for councils, civil design for school redevelopments, healthcare and retirement villages, and environmental management planning for complex water projects.

She has strong relationships with local authorities, and is experienced in navigating district and regional consenting requirements.

Alongside her engineering work, Sophie contributes through governance roles in the community. In 2024, her commitment was recognised with the Emerging Director Award from the Canterbury Institute of Directors.

Jacob is currently delivering major retirement villages and multiple education projects across the South Island, with wider expertise across three waters, roading, land development and multi-disciplinary infrastructure.

A Chartered Professional Engineer, Jacob has worked across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and consenting through to detailed design, contract administration and construction monitoring, including Engineer to Contract and Engineer’s Representative roles.

His experience spans New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with projects including Ravenswood Development in North Canterbury, the Shands Road Intersections Upgrade in Prebbleton and the Grand Union Development in London.

Jacob is currently the civil design led for a number of retirement village and care facility projects across the South Island, while also project managing the design of modular classrooms across more than 20 school sites in Canterbury. Working closely with clients, contractors and project teams, he being a collaborative approach and commitment to delivering cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
