When things are moving fast and information is changing, having the right people with the right experience beside you really matters.
Emergency response often bring together multiple agencies, technical disciplines and community needs. We understand teams often need to understand what’s happening on the ground, so decisions can be made about what to do next.
Our teams have long supported recovery and response work across the South Island, working alongside response teams, councils, asset owners and local communities. We’re used to moving quickly to be on the ground where we’re needed, and staying closely involved to support response and recovery efforts as they progress. That might mean providing technical advice, carrying out on‑site assessments, using drones where it’s unsafe for people to access an area, or supporting teams as recovery moves beyond the immediate response. RAPID RESPONSE
We support rapid site assessments and provide advice to help teams understand ground conditions, infrastructure impacts and environmental considerations. Where access or safety is an issue, we use remote and aerial survey methods to gather the information needed while keeping people out of harm’s way.

STABILITY & SAFETY
As response efforts continue, our engineers, surveyors, planners and environmental scientists work together to assess stability, movement and potential risks. With teams based across the South Island, we’re able to mobilise quickly and apply the right tools for the site, conditions and stage of response, whether that’s detailed investigations, monitoring or targeted assessments.

EMERGENCY & TEMPORARY WORKS
We help shape and support emergency and temporary works such as restoring access, managing debris and putting protection measures in place, while also working closely with contractors and response teams on site.
