Caring for the environment remains central to how we operate. Alongside this, we support social initiatives, promote cultural awareness and contribute to community development in the places where we live and work.
As active members of industry and professional organisations, we’re focused on supporting inclusive and sustainable futures. We also place strong importance on professional development, helping our people build their skills and grow their careers.

In 2025, we became one of the first multidisciplinary engineering consultancies in New Zealand to achieve Toitū Envirocare Climate Positive certification, building on our earlier milestone in 2015 when we were among the first South Island engineering, surveying and planning consultancies to achieve CarboNZero certification.
These certifications provide independent proof that we’re contributing to the regeneration of our planet through efficient waste practices, renewable energy use and careful management of our vehicle fleet. Additionally, we invest in local carbon credits to offset our emissions.

We prioritise environmentally responsible practices and continue to look for practical ways to reduce our impact and preserve the natural world for future generations. This includes initiatives such as tree planting, community clean‑ups, and supporting local businesses and charitable causes.
Since 2018, we’ve actively supported and been involved in, the Superhome Movement, enhancing building standards and creating energy-efficient homes.

We care about the communities where we live and work, and supporting them is important to us. We do this through direct involvement, giving time, providing sponsorship or fundraising. Our focus is on supporting initiatives that contribute to positive outcomes for people and places across New Zealand.
