The Brief

The team at Craigieburn Valley Ski Area engaged us to provide geotechnical and civil engineering advice after a significant weather event triggered a landslide which removed a large portion of the access road.

What We Did

Our specialist input included site investigations, slip assessment, repair advice and an engineering report for the road owner, Department of Conservation (DOC).

We understood how critical it was to get our team on site quickly so the ski field could reopen in time for the ski season. As keen winter sport enthusiasts ourselves, we combined our technical expertise with a genuine love for snow sports to help get the road reopened safely and efficiently. We’ve been back since as a team to stay and ride the mountain bike trails.
