With a surveying career spanning more than five decades, Barry's experience includes subdivision design, resource consent applications, cadastral title surveys, unit title developments and project management.

He has worked on a wide range of land and housing development projects, including pre-purchase block value assessments, subdivision design, project management, construction contract administration, cadastral title surveys and unit title developments. His expertise is often called on for challenging work, including resource consent applications, publicly notified subdivisions and hearing processes.

In 2019, Barry was named a Fellow of Survey and Spatial New Zealand in recognition of his contribution to the profession and his longstanding commitment to surveying practice and leadership.

Matt lives and breathes surveying and has an real interest in combining traditional survey work with the latest drone and 3D scanning technology.

A surveyor and licensed cadastral surveyor, Matt's work spans rural and urban environments and includes civil construction set-out, as-built surveys and detailed topographical surveys. He's also involved in precise monitoring, geodetic control surveys and the use of advanced surveying technologies such as 3D laser scanning, drone photogrammetry and LiDAR. This work supports projects that require accurate spatial data across multiple stages of design and construction. 

Matt has worked on projects across Canterbury and the wider South Island, including land development, infrastructure and remediation projects, with experience supporting survey requirements from early fieldwork through to final deliverables. 

One of our most experienced drone operators, Hamish blends traditional surveying expertise with modern technology.

Hamish is a Christchurch surveyor with strong expertise in UAV photogrammetry, LiDAR and drone operations, supporting land development, construction and infrastructure work.

He works across a wide range of surveying disciplines, including precise site control surveys, cadastral surveying, engineering and construction setout, and topographic and as-built surveys. His drone expertise is particularly valuable during emergency response and recovery, when access or safety needs to be carefully considered.

Hamish is also highly experienced in drone work and oversees general UAV operations and training in the Christchurch office. Alongside his project work, he supports teams across other offices by providing guidance and additional processing capacity when needed.
