Pauline Hadfield
Planner
Based in: Nelson
Pauline is a planner based in our Nelson office. She works with clients and resource consents across the Nelson, Tasman, Buller, Grey and Westland districts and also supports Buller District Council as a consultant planner.
Her work covers a broad range of planning projects, including rural and urban subdivisions, District Plan changes, land use consents, mining consents and road legalisation projects.
Over more than two decades, Pauline’s role has evolved significantly. She started as office manager in our Greymouth office before transitioning into planning and relocating to Nelson in 2010. Her work places a strong focus on maintaining effective working relationships with council planning departments and taking a collaborative approach to efficiently resolving any planning issues that might arise.

- Processing subdivision and land use consent applications for local territorial authority
- Providing planning advice on land and building developments
- Preparation of subdivision and land use consent applications, including Assessments of Environmental Effects and consideration of relevant objectives and policies
- Preparation of submissions
- Preparation of evidence and presentation at local council hearings
