Mark Morris
Senior Planner
Based in: Nelson
Mark is a resource management planner with almost three decades of experience, working across a wide range of planning activities. His work is supported by detailed knowledge of the Resource Management Act and local authority planning practice.
He works with private clients, surveyors and engineers on subdivision and land use proposals, supporting projects through the resource consent process. This includes involvement in managing complex planning projects and providing planning input across a range of development types.
He enjoys working with people to ensure their development project proceeds through the planning process – from the initial concept to completion – with a minimum of fuss.
Mark enjoys working with people as part of the planning process, supporting development projects from initial concept through to completion. His approach places importance on integrity and open communication with clients throughout the project.

- Preparation and Assessments of Environmental Effects
- Site selection and feasibility assessments
- Preparation of submissions
- Providing planning advice on land and building developments
- Preparation of evidence and presentation at local council hearings
- Extensive knowledge of the RMA and district plans
