Helping clients understand site conditions, environmental risks and the steps needed to support development, consent and remediation work.
Jimmy works in our Environmental Science Team, bringing expertise gained from a wide range of contaminated and hazardous materials projects throughout New Zealand. His work includes complex commercial and industrial redevelopments, rural and agricultural sites, closed and operable landfills, large-scale desktop investigations and hazardous materials demolition.
He has experience across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage desktop assessment and targeted site investigation through to remediation design and delivery, and validation reporting. Working across a range of regulatory settings, Jimmy helps clients navigate the requirements of central and local government, including under the Resource Management Act and the National Environmental Standard for Assessing and Managing Contaminants in Soil.
As a Licensed Asbestos Assessor, Jimmy brings specialist hazardous materials expertise across asbestos surveys, remediation oversight, clearance inspections, mould assessments and environmental monitoring including dust, noise and vibration. He is also a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Practitioner (SQEP), with a track record of preparing clear, technically defensible reporting to support planning and regulatory processes.
