Jamie Eggers
Senior Engineering Technician
Based in: Nelson
Jamie is a senior engineering technician based in Nelson, with extensive local experience across civil, structural and geotechnical engineering.
He has strong capability in advanced 3D modelling and is regularly involved in designing access and driveways for some of the most desirable hillside sites in the region. Alongside this, he has worked in a variety of project roles, including NZS 3910, as Engineer’s Representative, as well as project manager and lead draughtsman.
Jamie is also closely involved on site, supporting the geotechnical and structural aspects of projects such as bridges, substations, roads, landslip remediation works, large retaining walls and substantial subdivisions. His role includes day-to-day monitoring of geotechnically complex earthworks, checking compliance with quality assurance and health and safety plans, and working alongside construction teams with a sound understanding of civil construction plant and its capabilities.
