Damienne Donaldson

Damienne is a Principal Planner and Manager of the Christchurch Planning team. With over 16 years’ experience in planning consultancies, including more than five years with Davis Ogilvie, she has a strong understanding of statutory planning principles.

As a Resource Management Planner, Damienne supports projects of varying scale and complexity, with experience across Canterbury and New Zealand. She specialises in the planning aspects of projects – including residential, commercial and infrastructure projects – and her work commonly includes resource consent applications, assessments of environmental effects (AEE), site selection and feasibility studies, preparing submissions, and providing planning advice on land use and building developments.

Known for her clear communication style, strong technical writing and ability to work effectively with councils and stakeholders, Damienne can help with complex planning approvals. She is currently involved in a variety of resource consent matters, from complex residential land use and subdivision consents through to regional council applications.
