Kumara Junction located halfway between Greymouth and Hokitika where the Otira Highway meets the coast has been a quiet central haven for many over the years. The developer saw the potential of this and looked to create the perfect extension. Anybody driving through the area would be completely unaware of the progressive development of Rural Residential sections. But take a drive along Sanctuary Place. The main road gently turns through the subdivision creating ever changing views. The view of the Paparoas and Southern Alps is really quite impressive from this location. But along the main access road there are no driveways. All access to sections is off quiet cul-de-sacs to the sides. The credit for the subdivision Layout must go to the client. Davis Ogilvie were able to assist by setting out the proposal to enable the required earthworks to be undertaken right through to the surveying and legal subdivision plans. Resource Management (including a plan change) and Land Surveying services have been provided to the client.
