Russell is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with expertise in surveying, resource management, land development and construction. He has worked for Davis Ogilvie since graduating from Otago University in 1994 and became a Director and Shareholder in 2007.
Specialising in the management of development projects, Russell can help you with all aspects including rural and urban cadastral surveys, unit title developments, the resource management process and civil construction. He also has experience in concept design, feasibility studies, subdivision engineering, resource consent applications and hearings, contract administration, project management, engineering surveying and pre-purchase reports.
Russell has a strong interest in urban design and its application to subdivision, and has written papers and presented at conferences on this topic. He is a current member of the Christchurch City, Nelson City and Tasman District Urban Design Panels. This involvement has deepened his understanding of urban design principles and best practice.
