Markham is an Engineering Geologist with eight years experience as a geologist including three years in the mining industry in New Zealand and Australia and five years as a consulting engineering geologist in the Nelson region. Markham has been a member of the Davis Ogilvie team since late 2018.
Markham has been involved in a variety of geotechnical projects including site investigations for residential and commercial developments, hazard assessments, earthworks and construction monitoring, and geotechnical design. Markham’s areas of experience include site investigations, project planning and management, ground model development and site characterisation, slope stability assessments, liquefaction assessments and geotechnical assessments for foundation design.
Markham is experienced in preparing reports suitable to accompany building and resource consent applications for residential and commercial developments and subdivisions.
Interests outside of work
Markham has a wide range of interests outside work including rock climbing, tramping, team sports including ultimate frisbee & soccer, yoga, acro yoga, dancing (multiple types), circus arts ie spinning poi, gardening, home renovation projects, tree planting and other ecological restoration projects with community groups, and involvement with political groups.
