The team at Craigieburn Valley Ski Area engaged us to provide geotechnical and civil engineering advice after a significant weather event triggered a landslide which removed a large portion of the access road.
Specialist advice included investigation, slip assessment and repairs and an engineering report to inform the road owner (DOC).
We understood the urgency of getting our team to site to assess the damage so that skifield could be operational and open in time for the ski season.
Many of the DO team are winter sport lovers too, so we combined our geotechnical expertise with our love for snow sport to provide sound advice for getting the road opened quickly. The partnership between DO, Craigieburn and DOC has been successful and we look forward to working together in the near future!
