Barry’s surveying experience dates all the way back to 1968. He is now a Consultant Surveyor, having stepped back as an Owner/Director of Davis Ogilvie and Partners Limited, a position he held from 1974 to 2012. Barry specialises in all aspects of complex land and housing development. He can assist with pre-purchase block value assessments, subdivision design, project management, construction contract administration, cadastral title surveys and unit title developments. Barry’s wealth of experience means he can help with the most difficult resource consent applications including subdivisions and developments, publicly-notified applications and hearings.
Barry’s expertise means he is called on as an expert witness in court actions. He has also been engaged in a quantity surveying capacity for banks, providing funding for projects and providing reporting for funding release.
In 2019 Barry was recognised for his outstanding service to surveying and was named as a Fellow of Survey and Spatial New Zealand.
