Greg is a Senior Engineering Geologist who has thirty-nine years of experience as a professional geologist. This includes ten years in the New Zealand Geological Survey in Christchurch, and twenty-nine years at GNS Science in Lower Hutt. He has an MSc (Hons) degree from the University of Auckland, and PhD from the University of Western Ontario Canada. Greg joined the team at Davis Ogilvie Nelson in early 2021.
At GNS Science he was a principal scientist, programme leader for sedimentary basin research and a departmental manager and has been involved in a wide range of research and commercial projects throughout New Zealand. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Canterbury and an Emeritus Scientist at GNS Science. He has published over 300 papers in international and national peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
