Davis Ogilvie has officially opened a new office in Wānaka today, marking an important step in strengthening its presence across Central Otago and the Southern Lakes region.

The new office reflects increasing demand for professional services across Wānaka, Queenstown Lakes, and the wider Upper Clutha area, where sustained growth in residential, infrastructure and land development projects continues to shape the region.

Leading the Wānaka office is Joe Turner, a long-standing DO team member who has relocated from the West Coast to head up the local team. Joe brings extensive regional experience and a strong understanding of the unique environmental, planning and infrastructure considerations that define the Southern Lakes and the surrounding district.

Joe said the move to Wānaka represents an exciting opportunity to work more closely with clients and communities across Central Otago. He says,

“Wānaka and the wider Upper Clutha are experiencing significant growth, and having a local presence allows us to respond quickly, build strong relationships and deliver solutions that reflect the needs of the region.”

The Wānaka office will support a broad range of projects across land development, infrastructure and property, while also strengthening collaboration with Davis Ogilvie’s wider South Island team.

Elliot Duke, Director at Davis Ogilvie, said establishing a permanent presence in Wānaka reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the region.

“Opening our Wānaka office is about being closer to our clients and supporting the sustainable growth of one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing regions. Having Joe lead the team gives us strong local leadership backed by the depth of our wider business.”

The Wānaka office is located at Unit 3, 20 Brownston Street and supporting clients across Central Otago and the Southern Lakes.
