Julian is based in our Christchurch office and specialises in the environmental aspects of projects.

Since joining Davis Ogilvie as a Graduate Environmental Scientist, he’s been providing contaminated land management services for widescale land development projects through to small residential, sampling and remediation. This is in addition to groundwater and stormwater monitoring, and asbestos surveying.

preliminary and detailed site investigations (PSIs/ DSIs), including desktop studies, risk assessments for the protection of human health, soil and groundwater sampling and testing
environmental monitoring of land and water
waste soil classification for re-use / disposal off site
long-term site management plans (LTSMPs)
remediation options, including evaluation and preparation of remediation action plans (RAPs)
supervision of remediation works, verification testing and reporting
gas membrane inspections
ground gas assessments.
