Hamish has followed up his postgraduate degree in geology with applied experience as an engineering geologist. He has experience in geotechnical investigation, analysis, design and construction monitoring with practical expertise in land development, and a keen interest in rockfall and slope stability.
He advocates the importance of well-planned site investigation and open communication for informing engineering design to provide pragmatic and cost-effective solutions to clients and contractors.
