Demonstrating our commitment to sustainability, 2024 marks 10 years in DO CarbonZero certification.
As one of the first South Island-based engineering, surveying and planning consultancy to achieve this certification, we’re incredibly proud of this milestone and our ongoing commitment to minimising our emissions and our impact on the climate.
Initiatives such as the installation of a 20kW solar power system and a biofuel tank at our Christchurch office, and a 15kW solar power system in Nelson, are important steps we can make in minimising our environmental impact.
Power and transport emissions account for a large part of our carbon footprint, therefore minimising these items is key to our overall emissions. Emissions that we can’t reduce are mitigated with the purchase of New Zealand based certified carbon credits.
