We have a great opportunity for a senior planner to join our Greymouth team.

The work is varied, ranging from residential, commercial and rural redevelopment to large scale comprehensive infrastructure and land development projects. We require someone who has strong communication skills and enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary practice of engineers, surveyors and planners, on projects throughout the South Island. We work in an exciting and dynamic environment, where we provide you the support and training to succeed.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate the following:

  • a tertiary qualification in planning
  • full membership to NZPI (or eligible for)
  • have a minimum of six years of relevant New Zealand experience
  • experience in project management and leadership, including leading multidisciplinary project teams
  • preparation of expert evidence and attending hearings
  • enjoy working with clients, local and regional authorities and other stakeholders
  • enjoy creating strong relationships with other experts such as architects, landscape architects, urban designers, acoustic and transport engineers
  • commercial awareness and be committed to excellent client service
