We’re looking for a Civil Design Engineer who will support the delivery of infrastructure projects across the South Island.

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to produce accurate designs, drawings and documentation that meet New Zealand standards, and bring to the team the following skills and experience:

  • a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D
  • knowledge of New Zealand civil standards and council processes
  • strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • at least three years’ experience in infrastructure design and/or land development.

Your daily adventures will include…

  • obtaining information and data
  • making decisions and solving problems
  • communicating within and outside the organisation
  • developing engineering designs with the use of Autodesk Civil 3D
  • preparing design plans and documentation
  • learning and using technical knowledge.
