Davis Ogilvie have been engaged as a multi-disciplinary consultancy to provide planning, surveying, structural, environmental and civil engineering services for a proposed residential and commercial development within Woodend.
Ravenswood, a 150 ha development located 20 minutes north of Christchurch, has almost 25 ha of commercial and light industrial land available. Key anchor tenants such as New World, McDonalds and BP have signed on to service the expected 1350 lot residential development and the wider Pegasus-Woodend community.
Davis Ogilvie has been involved with the project from the initial scheme plans showing the proposed layout, through to the detailed civil engineering, which includes the realignment of Taranaki Stream, design of 12 ha of stormwater management ponds, and over 400,000 m3 of earthworks.
Construction of the commercial stage is expected to start in early 2017.
