We have a great opportunity for a Licensed Surveyor to join our busy Christchurch team.

We require someone who has strong communication skills who would enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary practice of Surveyors, Planners, Geotechnical, Environmental, Civil and Structural Engineers. The type of work is varied ranging from residential and rural development, to commercial sites and large scale land development projects.

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:
• Have a minimum of five years of relevant New Zealand surveying experience
• Be recognised as a Licensed Surveyor in New Zealand
• A sound knowledge of computer-based field equipment and design software, including the use of GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and proficiency in 12D, AutoCad and Landonline.
• Demonstrate experience in land development, planning and subdivision consents, design, project management and working to legislative guidelines.
• An interest in the associated disciplines of civil / structural engineering, resource management planning and enjoy dealing with clients and contractors
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability to manage time effectively

This position will be primarily office based; however some field work will also be required from time to time. The role will involve working with our surveying team, our wider team of engineers and planners, as well as a range of clients and contractors.

We offer flexibility to be full time, or part time and could also involve a combination of work within the office and from home if required. This can be discussed further during the interview process.
