Recently two Davis Ogilvie staff were nominated for awards in the recent Canterbury Celebrates Engineering NZ Awards.
Jeremy Rees is a Chartered Professional Engineering specializing in the civil infrastructure aspects of projects; in particular roading and infrastructure design, stormwater and wastewater reticulation design, and contract management. He is currently the civil team leader at Davis Ogilvie, managing a team of 12 engineers and technicians covering a diverse range of projects. He is responsible for the civil team’s quality assurance and provides technical guidance and oversight to Davis Ogilvie’s civil projects. Jeremy was nominated for the ‘Emerging Engineer’ category, recognising his leadership qualities and enthusiasm to contribute to the engineering profession.
As a Project Engineer, Dave Bowman specialises in the civil aspects of projects; including concept design, detailed construction design, contract administration and site management. Dave has been involved in a number of large-scale development projects including the Silverstream subdivision in Kaiapoi, the Sovereign Palms subdivision in Kaiapoi, the New Arterial Road in Kaiapoi, the Ravenswood development in Woodend, the Lochinver Run development in Tekapo and the Waterloo Business Park in Christchurch. Dave was nominated for the ‘Celebrate Communication’ award recognising the high level of communication he offers all Davis Ogilvie clients.
